Zaplox, a Lund, Sweden-based developer of a system to remotely control door locks through a mobile phone, has raised SEK10m in funding.
Backers include Industrifonden and LMK Venture.
The company intends to use the funds to further develop its products and services based on mobile keys.
Founded in 2010 and led by CEO Stefan Gripwall and CTO Lars Tilly, Zaplox has developed and patented a system that locks or unlocks doors remotely using the standard mobile network. The company intends to offer its solutions to hotels, offices and the home segment.
