Senior Whole Health, a Cambridge, Massachusetts-based health plan provider for for “dual-eligibles”, people who qualify for both Medicare and Medicaid, has received an investment of undisclosed amount from global private equity firm TA Associates.
In conjunction with the investment, Mark Carter, a Principal at TA, Jonathan Goldstein, a Managing Director at TA, will join the company’s board.
Founded in 2004 and led by CEO John Baackes, Senior Whole Health integrates all Medicare, Medicaid and Medicare Part D Pharmacy benefits into a comprehensive plan. The company’s members and providers have 24/7 phone access to Nurse Care Managers. Its Community Resource Coordinators arrange and organize services and act as advocates for members. Members and their caregivers have access to an array of home and community-based services in their residence of choice – home, assisted living center, nursing home or other location.
