Finnish venture capital firm VNT Management held the first close of its new fund at €42m.
Supporters include Finnish Industry Investment, FoF Growth, the Finnish pension fund Varma, and private investors.
Power Fund III focuses on investing in early and growth stage technology companies based in Finland and in other selected European countries. The vehicle, which makes minority investment in new energy technology and on power electronic applications in particular, will seek approximately 15 companies for its initial investments.
