Mavenlink, an Irvine, CA-based provider of workplace apps that allow people to work together, has raised an additional $3.9m in capital.
Backers were not publicized.
The company intends to use the funds for continued development of technology and services to support its user base.

It brings together collaboration, project management, file management, time tracking, invoicing and online payments together under one solutions.
Its latest project management tools enable all project participants to actively shape the future direction of each project. To build the apps, the company has leveraged insight gathered from over three years of customer feedback from its 100K+ user base.
The company’s products are available in the Google Apps Marketplace.
