Clearlake Capital Group, L.P., a private investment firm focused on special situations, sponsored the recapitalization of and provided a “significant” sum of capital to Omaha, NE-based information security company Solutionary, Inc.
Led by CEO Steve Idelman, Solutionary provides services designed to reduce risk, increase security and ensure compliance for enterprise and mid market companies. Its multi-patented platform, ActiveGuard, processes more than 500 billion security events annually, offering global customers 24/7 threat detection, device management and correlated security intelligence.
The company plans to use the funding to expand its sales and marketing presence, product development initiatives and global operations.
In conjuction with the transaction, Steve Chang, Clearlake Founding Partner, and Prashant Mehrotra, a Vice President at Clearlake, have joined the Solutionary’s Board of Directors.
