Interactions Corporation, a Boston, MA-based provider of voice and interactive solutions that allow companies to interact with their customers, has closed a $12m funding round.
The round was led by Sigma Partners, with participation from North Hill Ventures, Cross Atlantic Capital Partners, and Updata Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to support its growing customer base, expand its market presence, and invest in new technology and infrastructure.
Led by CEO Mike Iacobucci, Interactions provides a platform for automated voice and other interactive systems designed to enable consumer facing brands to interact with their customers. The solution works with existing IVR (Interactive Voice Response) platforms, speech platforms, and Web applications and is supplemented by a small pool of human analysts.
The company operates additional facilities in Indiana and Texas.
