Mindflash, a Palo Alto, CA-based company operating a web platform that enables companies to share knowledge and train employees, has raised $4m in funding.
The round was led by the Investment Group of Santa Barbara (IGSB), which already invested $5m in the company in December 2009.
Launched in September 2010 and led by CEO Donna Wells, Mindflash allows organizations to easily set up training courses enabling employees to share best practices, new product details, business process information, and any other materials that will help develop and grow their business.
The application allows users to handle any type of content and upload training materials and quizzes (PowerPoint, PDF, Word, video, audio), organize them in a simple dashboard. It also provides testing, course management, and automated reporting.
