Mindflash Raises Additional $3.5M from Investment Group of Santa Barbara

Mindflash, a Palo Alto, Calif.-based online training platform for businesses, raised an additional $3.5m in funding from existing backer the Investment Group of Santa Barbara (IGSB).

The company intends to use the company to continue to enhance its online training platform and its sales and marketing programs.

Founded in 1999 and led by Donna Wells, CEO, Mindflash provides a cloud-based platform for employee and customer training.
over 1,000 organizations. Businesses can create and manage training programs using the file types that businesses already use (PowerPoint, PDF, Word, video, audio) without engineering or IT support. Trainers can upload and organize files using a simple dashboard, add quizzes and then publish to the web to create self-paced new hire training, sales training, customer certification courses, etc.
Customers include McDonalds, Lufthansa, Hilton Hotels, LoanDepot, Johnson Health Tech, Ericsson, Airbnb, Yammer, Shutterfly and Dyson, among more than 1,000 organizations.
