Z2Live Closes Series B Funding

Z2Live, a Seattle, WA-based publisher of mobile games, has closed a Series B funding round of undisclosed amount.
Investors include venture capital firm Draper Fisher Jurvetson and existing backer Madrona Venture Group.
In conjunction with the funding, Ed Fries, the co-founder of the Xbox Project and the original builder of Microsoft’s Game Studios, joined the company’s board along with William Bryant from DFJ.
As stated by CEO David Bluhm, Z2Live intends to use the funds to expand globally.
The company’s first title was Trade Nations, which was launched in late 2010 for iOS devices.
