Bobo’s, a Boulder, Colo.-based maker of whole grain snacks, raised $5.5m in funding.
The round was led by Boulder Food Group.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach.
Started in 2003 by Beryl Stafford and her daughter “Bobo”, Bobo’s creates oat bars from wholesome ingredients, including:
- 100% Organic Whole Grain Oats
- Organic Coconut Oil
- Organic Whole Cane Sugar
- Brown Rice Syrup
With over 15 varieties of flavors, each bar uses 100% organic whole grains and is vegan, gluten free and non-GMO.
The company’s products including Bars, Stuff’d Bars, Bites, Toaster Pastries and Variety Packs, are sold in retailers nationwide.
