Eventbase Technology Inc., a Vancouver, Canada-based mobile technology platform for events, raised $6m in funding.
Madrona Venture Group made the investment. In conjunction with the funding, Paul Goodrich, managing director at Madrona Venture Group, will join Eventbase’s board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to further accelerate growth.
Led by Jeff Sinclair, CEO and co-founder, Eventbase provides a mobile technology platform for premium events and also delivers apps for trade shows like NAB Show and RSNA, and consumer events including the last three Olympic Games, Comic-Con International and Sundance Film Festival.
Clients include Microsoft, SAP, HP, Cisco, Salesforce, Cannes Lions, and SXSW.
The company, which also has office in London, UK, has over 10 million app downloads across thousands of events worldwide.
