Talkdesk, a San Francisco, CA-based call center software provider, raised an additional $6M in Series A funding.
This strategic investment, which added to the $15M they raised in June 2015, was led by Salesforce Ventures with participation from existing investors, DFJ and Storm Ventures.
The company will use the funds to continue to expand the team in order to “transform the stagnant $20B call center software market“.
Talkdesk provides a cloud-based solution that enables companies to deploy call center software in minutes, without hardware, downloads or coding, featuring IVR, skills-based routing and comprehensive metrics, and integrating with Salesforce’s Sales and Service Cloud, Desk.com and others.
The company has a customer base of over 1,000 businesses including Box, Audibene, DoorDash, Anki and Edmunds.com.
