Gainsight, a Redwood City, CA-based provider of a customer success platform, closed $50m in Series D funding.
The round was led by private equity and venture capital firm Insight Venture Partners, with participation from Battery Ventures, Bain Capital Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners, Salesforce Ventures, Summit Partners, and Lightspeed Venture Partners.
The company will use the funds to continue to expand adoption of its platform globally.
Led by Nick Mehta, CEO, Gainsight provides businesses with a SaaS-based platform that allows enterprises to contact customers effectively, track customer health and drive retention across Customer Success, sales, marketing, executive and product management.
Customers include Adobe, Box, DocuSign, HP, Marketo, Nutanix and Workday, among others.
