MuleSoft Raises $128M in Funding

mulesoftMuleSoft, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a platform to connect applications, data and devices, raised $128m in funding.

The round was led by Salesforce Ventures with participation from new strategic investor ServiceNow, as well as existing strategic investor Cisco Investments, Adage Capital Management, Brookside Capital and Sands Capital Ventures, and existing venture investors New Enterprise Associates, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Meritech Capital Partners, Bay Partners, Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, Morgenthaler and Sapphire Ventures.

The company, which has now raised $259m, intends to use the funds to accelerate technology platform innovation, expand internationally and extend its reach to serve global enterprise customers.

Founded in 2006 and led by Greg Schott, CEO, MuleSoft provides organizations in 60 countries with an integration platform to connect applications, APIs and data sources, whether in the cloud or on-premises. Its Anypoint Platform® includes CloudHub™ iPaaS, Mule ESB™, and a unified solution for API management™, design and publishing to deliver a complete integration experience built on open source technology.

The company currently has more than 500 employees worldwide.
