Amba Defence, a Birmingham, West Midlands, UK-based company that provides innovative defence, security and safety equipment and monitoring services, raised £256k in venture capital funding.
Midven provided the funding via its Exceed Fund.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its product portfolio of advanced technologies and recruit additional staff to support its growth plans.
Led by Managing director Shires Crichton, Amba Defence provides national infrastructure, national and international governments, private institutions and high net-worth individuals with security and defence solutions delivered by four divisions: Consultancy, Solutions, Technology and Control.
It is a fully accredited Security, Safety and Defence Company and hold current certifications with the National Security Industry Association (NSI), Security Systems and Alarm Inspectorate Board (SSAIB), and the British Security Industry Association (BSIA).
Crichton formed Amba Defence over a year ago, acquiring two established businesses from Westminster Group Plc. and IP from Ground Hawk Ltd to form Amba.
