AdRoll, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a retargeting platform, has raised $15m in funding.
The round was led by Foundation Capital, with participation from existing investors Merus Capital and Accel Partners.
The company intends to use the funding to further develop its data-driven advertising technology and to scale the business. AdRoll will invest in increasing real-time inventory reach and rolling out new products in mobile, video and social. It will also open new domestic and international offices.
In conjunction with the funding, Charles Moldow, general partner at Foundation Capital, will join the company’s board.
Led by Aaron Bell, founder and CEO, AdRoll provides enterprise, mid-size and small organizations with a software-as-a-service platform which provides transparency, cross-platform reach across large display inventory sources, and tools that personalize ad campaigns based on a visitor’s shopping behavior. use retargeting solutions.
It supports over 5,000 customers worldwide and is adding almost 500 new customers per month.
