Graymatics, a Santa Clara, CA-based company that is developing a cloud platform for content-based analysis of video and other digital media, has received an investment of undisclosed amount from Citrix Startup Accelerator.
The company plans to use the funding to accelerate commercialization of its services.
Still in stealth mode, Graymatics provides a richly featured Platform as a Service, which is designed to organize rich media data, based on true content, over the internet, networked video systems & proprietary media sources.
Led by CEO & founder Abhijit Shanbhag, the company also has R&D units in Bangalore, India and in Singapore.
Citrix Startup Accelerator is the Silicon Valley-based seed investment initiative launched in December 2010 by Citrix Systems (NASDAQ:CTXS).
