The CCS Group Receives Majority Investment from Zurmont Madison Private Equity

The CCS Group, a Lyss (Berne), Switzerland-based outsourcing company for electronic engineering and manufacturing services, has received a majority investment from Zurmont Madison Private Equity as part of a succession agreement.
The proceeds from the investment will support the company, which currently has production sites in Switzerland, Sri Lanka and China, to implement a globally oriented buy-and-build strategy.
As a result of the transaction, CCS founder Stephan Schindler and the management team under CEO
Thomas Kaiser will hold minority shareholdings.
Founded in 1985 by Stephan Schindler and André Bonzon CCS offers outsourcing services for electronic and mechatronic applications and is certified under a number of globally recognized standards. It is active in the development of hardware, software and test concepts, as well as in material management and the production and life-cycle management of assemblies and machinery.
In 2010, CCS generated revenue of just under CHF60m with a staff of 1,000.
Its clients are mainly in Switzerland and Europe.
