Satellite Vu, a London, UK-based climate-tech company, raised £12.7M in Series A2 funding.
The round, which brought the total venture funding to £30.5M, was led by Molten Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to enter commercial operation, converting its Early Access Option Programme (EAP) customer commitments to revenue bookings from Q4 2023.
Co-founded by Anthony Baker, CEO, and Tobias Reinicke, CTO, Satellite Vu provides a platform that leverages infrared technology to capture high-resolution thermal data from space to monitor locations on earth in near real-time to measure the impact of human activity. The space-enabled climate technology provides insight into economic activity, energy efficiency and carbon footprint for a range of industries including: Built Environment; Defence and Intelligence and Industrial Activity Monitoring. This data will enable industries, organisations and governments to take critical action towards Net Zero goals.
