CertiVox Raises £900K in Series A Funding

CertiVox, a San Francisco and London-based information security company, has received £900,000 (approximately $1,460,000) in Series A funding.
The round was led by Pentech Ventures, with participation from Octopus Investments.
The company intends to use the funds to develop and bring to market its key management infrastructure as a service (IaaS) that is designed to enable users to secure their information exchanges simply.
In conjunction with the funding, Dr. Sandy McKinnon, a partner at Pentech Ventures, and Mr. Bruce Leith, ex-managing director at London Bridge software, will join CertiVox’ board.
The company, which is led by CEO Brian Spector, appointed of Albert E. Sisto to the board of directors as executive chairman.
