KBC Private Equity Participates in €2.2M Capital Increase of Cellumat

KBC Private Equity and Cellumat’s management team have carried out a €2.2m capital increase aimed at funding the further growth of Cellumat, a company that produces high-quality aerated concrete.
Based in a modern factory in the French city of Valenciennes, the company was set up at the end of 2008 by a team of experienced professionals in the area of aerated concrete, a sustainable building material with topquality features – such as its high insulation capacity, light weight, compressive strength and optimal fire resistance.
The company produces more than 100 000 m³ annually and works with the main building retailers, contractors and property developers in France and Belgium.
Commenting on the investment, Dominique De Cock, Cellumat CEO, said: “We are delighted with the successful completion of this capital increase, which puts Cellumat in a position to achieve its ambitious business plan and to gain a market share of 30% within three years”.
