Dachis Group, an Austin, Texas-based Social Business consultancy, completed $30m Series B funding round.
The round, which was led by Austin Ventures, is designed to help the company further expand.
In particular, the funding will be used:
– to hire and retent professionals.
– to invest in process development, knowledge sharing systems, and quality control; – to expand its international base;
– to continue to grow through targeted acquisitions.
Through its three main Social Business practice areas, including Social Business Strategy, Social Business Engagement, and Social Business Intelligence, Dachis Group helps large organizations become more connected and engaged with their their customers, their workforce and their enterprise partners.
Launched in April of 2008 by Jeffrey Dachis, Dachis Group today employs over 220 consultants in 10 cities in five countries (New York, London, Portland, Philadelphia, St. Louis, Austin, Lincoln, Sydney, Madrid and Amsterdam).
