New York-based Altruik, a provider of search engine optimization technology solutions, raised $4.7m in Series A financing.
Greenhill SAVP, DFJ Gotham, First Round Capital, Javelin Partners, and Zelkova Ventures participating in the funding round.
Commenting on the deal, Eric Gertler, CEO of Altruik, said: “Our ability to complete this investment in the current economic environment underscores the potential that we know exists in this nascent area of the Internet. “Given Greenhill SAVP’s notable experience in technology-enabled marketing services, we believe they will add significant value and expertise as we grow our business”.
For Greenhill SAVP, this is the eighth online media and marketing services investment in the past two years.
