AppSheet Secures $1.5m in Seed Funding

AppSheetAppSheet, a Seattle, WA-based code-free platform to create and deploy mobile business apps, secured $1.5m in seed funding.

Global vc firm New Enterprise Associates made the investment.

The company, which has raised $2.1m in total, intends to use the capital to further develop its technology platform, expand its global customer reach, and grow the team.

Led by co-founder and CEO Praveen Seshadri, AppSheet provides a code-free platform to create and deploy mobile apps. More than 30,000 users across 150 countries have built apps with AppSheet since its November 2014 launch.
Business professionals at large organizations like Sprint, non-profits like Habitat for Humanity, and thousands of small businesses have created more than 50,000 apps for sales, marketing, field service, operations, real estate, customer engagement, etc.
