LifeVoxel.AI, a San Diego CA-based AI diagnostic visualization platform, raised a $5M seed funding.
The round was led by unnamed medical and radiology specialists, strategic medical technology investors and Family Offices.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.
Led by Sekhar Puli, President and CEO, and Kovey Kovalan, Founder and Chief Architect, LifeVoxel.AI provides a HIPAA compliant SaaS platform that enables real-time, immersive 3D telepresence interactivity for remote patient engagement and the direct integration of AI diagnostic support into daily physician workflows from any web enabled device. Additionally, the platform stores images, diagnostic annotations and reports, which are data critical for the ongoing development of AI diagnostic applications.
The company’s platform was also granted FDA 510K approval for use in the diagnostic interpretation of medical images and is protected by more than 12 international patents.
