Aikido Raises $17M in Series A Funding

Aikido, a Ghent, Belgium-based platform for developers to get their web app secured, raised $17m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Singular, with participation from existing backers Notion Capital and Connect Ventures.  

The company, which has raised a total of $22.5m, intends to use the capital to expand operations and its development efforts, as well as to grow globally.

Co-founded by Roeland Delrue, Felix Garriau, and Willem Delbare, Aikido is a security platform for developers to centralize all necessary code and cloud security scanners within software development workflows. In less than a year since launch, the platform is already used by over 3,000 organizations and 6,000 individual developers. 30% of their customers are in the US.
