watttron, a Freital, Germany based developer of sustainable packaging tech solutions, raised €12m in Series B funding.
The round was led by Circular Innovation Fund, with participation from Demeter, Cycle Capital and the European Circular Bioeconomy Fund.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.
Founded at the Institute of Natural Materials Technology of the Technical University of Dresden and the Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging Dresden, and led by Marcus Stein, CEO, watttron is a provider of digital temperature control systems that give customers the full understanding and control over their thermal processes.
