Fibracast Ltd., a Hamilton, Ontario, Canada-based developer and manufacturer of innovative membrane technologies for advanced water and wastewater treatment, closed a $44.6m financing round.
This investor group was led by Cycle Capital and included Export Development Canada (EDC).
The company intends to use the funds to increase its manufacturing capacity, expand its technology platform, and build up its marketing team.
Led by Steve Watzeck, CEO, Fibracast is a developer and manufacturer of advanced water filtration membranes and systems. Its membranes and systems are used by municipal, industrial, institutional, commercial and developer clients worldwide. These membranes are used for efficiently treating water and wastewater to the strictest regulatory standards including reuse.
