Ninja Kiwi Acquires AutoAttack Games

Swedish Modern Times Group MTG AB (publ) announced that its wholly-owned game studio Ninja Kiwi has acquired AutoAttack Games, the developer behind the tower defense success Legion TD 2. 

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

With the acquisition, Ninja Kiwi will expand its offerings.

AutoAttack Games was established in 2014 by Brent Batas (CEO and Founder), following his Legion TD mod for Warcraft III, with Julian Gari joining shortly after in 2016. Together they are responsible for the development, marketing, and community activities around Legion TD 2, supported by a small team.

MTG is an international mobile gaming group that owns and operates gaming studios with global IPs across a wide range of casual and mid-core genres. The group is focused on accelerating portfolio company growth and supporting founders and entrepreneurs. The company is based in Sweden but have an international culture and global footprint.
