Cargofive Raises €2.5M in Funding

Cargofive, a Lisbon, Portugal-based freight forwarding startup, raised €2.5M in funding.

The round saw the new participation of venture capitalists Indico Capital and EIT Urban Mobility. This followed a round previously led by Shilling & Lince Capital, alongside angel investors and the PRR Nexus.

The company intends to use the funds to further innovation and enhancement of its product, to invest in Marketing & Sales for strategic expansion across Europe and the Americas. to accelerate their Product Roadmap, and to expand their logistical presence with new Ocean and Inland service integrations.

Led by CEO Sebastian Cazajus, Cargofive provides a platform that simplifies the process of identifying efficient routes and competitive pricing. It enables quick generation of customer quotations, boosts operational efficiencym and enhances the customer experience in freight forwarding.

Cargofive has a diverse client base that includes over 100 small, midsize, and even top 50 freight forwarders worldwide. The company’s partnerships are ERPs and major carriers.
