Reach Security, Sunnyvale, CA-based company providing AI solutions for security operations, raised $20M in funding.

The round was led by Ballistic Ventures, with participation from Artisanal Ventures, Mark McLaughlin, Denise Persson. Existing backers Webb Investment Network, Ridge Ventures, and TechOperators also joined the round.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.

Co-founded by Garrett Hamilton, CEO, and Colt Blackmore, CTO, Reach Security provides companies with security tools to simplify cybersecurity, reduce operational costs, and enhance protection against evolving threats. The company delivers an AI purpose-built to reprogram an organization’s security infrastructure based on who they are and how they’re being attacked. Reach acts across the entire security estate, interrogating each tool, gathering data on who is being targeted and how those attacks work. Security leaders get a 360-degree view of how their products are protecting them, a prioritized list of how to improve, and automation that empowers their defenders to act.
