ArmorCode Raises $14M in Series A Funding

ArmorCode

ArmorCode, a Palo Alto, CA-based AppSecOps company, raised $14M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Ballistic Ventures, with participation from Sierra Ventures, Cervin, John Donovan, Oliver Friedrichs, and John Jack.

The company intends to use the funds for business scale.

Led by CEO Nikhil Gupta, ArmorCode provides an AppSecOps platform for customers to reduce application exposure and risk, while scaling AppSec effectiveness and impact by more than 10X across the organization. Customers use the platform for AppSec Posture, Vulnerability, and Compliance Management and DevSecOps automation. With businesses prioritizing shipping applications fast, it leads many applications to launch without the necessary security checks and leaves organizations vulnerable. ArmorCode’s platform is able to solve this problem by delivering a unified view into customers’ AppSec posture, vulnerability, and compliance management as well as into their development, security and operations workflow automation.

Current customers range from fast-growing cloud-native companies to some of the most respected brands in each of their categories.
