Bear Robotics Raises $60M in Series C Funding

Bear Robotics, a Redwood City, CA-based company which specializes in service robotics and artificial intelligence solutions, raised $60M in Series C funding.

The round was led by LG Electronics.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate into new territories, targeting emerging markets such as smart warehousing and supply chain automation.

Led by CEO John Ha, Bear Robotics manufactures self-driving indoor robots, called Servi, to assist employees on daily tasks that can ease their workload. Its flagship Servi robots have been deployed in hospitality, healthcare, retail, logistics and multi-story real estate venues in North America, Europe, and Asia.

Commenting on the news, John Ha said: “Our partnership with LG goes beyond funding; it’s a strategic alliance that boosts our mission to enhance efficiency and productivity in sectors ripe for innovation.”
