The round was led by Molten Ventures, with participation from Hummingbird Ventures, Amino Collective and Y Combinator, as well as new angel investors including Sidar Sahin, founder of Peak Games.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate deployment to tens of millions of patients and healthcare professionals worldwide.

Led by CEO Shun Pang, Anima delivers an operating system for integrated care at clinic, network and regional level. Combining online consultation with productivity tools and built with a working system at its core, the company brings everything a care team needs into a single platform. Since launching with its first paying clinics in 2022, the platform has become central to operations in clinics throughout the NHS.

Anima launched with its first paying clinics in September 2022, and is now deployed in over 150 NHS clinics in England. Following a product release in December 2023, the company will release the next version of the software (Anima 1.5) later this year.

Commenting on the news, Shun Pang said: “We’re excited to bring Inga of Molten on our journey. From day 1, it was clear to us that she shared our vision of care enablement, a thesis Inga and Molten have had for years.”
