Oleria Raises $33.1M in Series A Funding

Oleria, a Bellevue, WA-based company providing adaptive and autonomous identity security solutions, raised $33.1M in Series A funding.

The round, which brought the total amount to over $40M, was led by Evolution Equity Partners with participation from Salesforce Ventures, Tapestry VC, and Zscaler. Taher Elgamal, Partner at Evolution Equity Partners and former CTO of Security at Salesforce, will be joining Oleria’s expanded board of directors as part of this funding round, along with John Watters, former President and COO at Mandiant.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its product innovation, including AI capabilities, as well as its go-to-market strategy.

Led by CEO Jim Alkove, Oleria provides adaptive and autonomous identity security solutions that help organizations have visibility into their access posture and autonomously identify and mitigate access risks before they can be exploited. The company is currently piloting its solution with a diverse group of customers planning for general availability starting in early 2024.
