HDM Solar Raises £10.2M in Funding

HDM Solar, a Kingston-upon-Hull, UK-based wholesaler of renewable energy products, raised £10.2M in funding.

The round was led by Angel Invest with participation from DF Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the rollout of a nationwide network of branches which will generate new jobs and provide local support to installers, businesses and consumers in every part of the country.  

Led by Daniel Rogers, Founder, and Adam Firth, Managing Director, HDM Solar is a wholesaler and a supplier of renewable energy products to the trade and public. Its product range includes over 1500 products all of which have been selected for their performance, durability and precision. The company holds supply agreements with brands including Mounting Systems GmbH, SunSynk, JA Solar, Jinko, Solax and more. HDM Solar offers direct-to-site delivery using its own distribution vehicles or selected courier partners.

The company plans to open sixty branches across the country and is targeting a total of five new sites to be operational by the end of 2024.
