Tenet Energy Raises $30M+ in Funding

Tenet Energy

Tenet Energy, a NYC-based provider of a climate fintech platform, raised $30M+ in funding.

The funding included over $10m in Series A investment and a $20m warehouse debt facility.

Led by venture capital firm Nyca Partners, the Series A funding round will be used to accelerate the growth of Tenet’s EV financing product.

Led by CEO Alex Liegl, Tenet works to finance renewable energy products, starting with EVs. Through its climate-focused financial platform designed to accelerate the mainstream adoption of home electrification, the company leverages attributes of EVs, chargers, and battery storage, among other technologies, to offer lower monthly payments for consumers and businesses. Tenet connects EV drivers and fleet owners with loans from sustainability-focused financial institutions through its platform partners, as well as through the company’s website or dashboard.

This current investment round followed an initial seed funding announced in 2022, led by Giant Ventures and Human Capital, with participation from Breyer Capital, Firstminute Capital, Global Founders Capital, and angel investors. Tenet has raised over $100M in committed loan funding across loan sale and warehouse financing partners.
