Snaptrude, a New York- and Bangalore, India-based startup providing an operating system for architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) companies, raised $14M in Series A funding.

The round, which brought the total raised to $21.8M, was led by Foundamental and Accel with participation from Fortius Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to grow the product and engineering teams expand its go-to-market strategy and reach.

Founded in 2017 by Altaf Ganihar, Snaptrude provides an operating system that allows designers and architects to create and edit 3D building plans, and collaborate together as well as with stakeholders to drive more informed design decisions. The cloud-based platform also leverages modern cloud infrastructure and web technologies to add data integrations from various sources as opposed to legacy tools with unwieldy desktop software.

Already, the platform has over 20,000 users across 30+ countries, including the US, UK, and India, and counts globally renowned firms amongst its customer base.
