CarpeCarbon Raises €1.75M in Pre-Seed Funding

CarpeCarbon, a Torino, Italy-based Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology developer, raised €1.75M in pre-seed funding.

Backers included Tech4Planet | Polo Nazionale di Trasferimento Tecnologico per la sostenibilità ambientale, launched by CDP Venture Capital SGR, 360 Capital, Club degli Investitori, as well as PiemonteNext co-investment fund.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.

Founded in 2022 by CEO Giuliano Antoniciello, CarpeCarbon develops Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology able to remove large amounts of CO2 from air using only renewable energy. As DAC systems efficiently capture CO2 that has already been emitted, they represent a remarkable example of carbon-negative technologies.
