Treon, a Tampere, Finland-based company which specializes in intelligent edge products for massive IoT, raised €5.5M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Ventech.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its network to include the US, Denmark and France, driving customer engagement, to enhance its product portfolio, and to further scale its organization to sustain the growth in the years to come.
Led by Joni Korppi, CEO, Treon provides a portfolio of sensors, gateways, edge platform, software, and services that enable global industry leaders in industrial, digital buildings, and logistics, to build scalable IoT solutions, leveraging its Aito Platform for rapid and innovative developments.
Having established partnerships in the DACH region, the company is now expanding its network to include the US, Denmark and France.
