Pirros Raises $2M in Seed Funding

Pirros

Pirros, a Los Angeles, CA-based provider of an architecture and engineering technology platform, raised $2M in Seed funding.

The round was led by FundersClub, YCombinator, Twenty Two Ventures, and Pioneer Fund, as well as angels including Tracy Young, Ralph Gootee, Ryan Sutton-Gee (Plangrid), Carl Bass (former CEO, Autodesk), Tim Olshansky (CTO, Aconex), Vlad Rikhter (Zenput), Joseph Walla (HelloSign), Adam Hansmann (The Athletic), and others.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.

Led by CEO Ari Baranian, Pirros is a tool created to streamline detail management for architecture and engineering firms. With it, architects and engineers can spend more time actually designing buildings instead of documenting them. This is achieved by automatic information aggregation and storage, so that all of a company’s outputs are stored and managed in a centralized, searchable platform for easy future re-use

Pirros is used by 30+ companies including KPFF Engineers and RAMSA.
