Omada, a Bordeaux, France-based provider of a social prediction app for sports fans, raised €7.1M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Felix Capital with participation from 20VC, Play Ventures, F4, Motier Ventures, and Athletico Ventures, Xavier Niel, Akin Babayigit, Pierre Antoine Capton, Claire Valoti, Maria Raga, Iris Alameddine, Pareto Holdings, Paul Le, Pat Cummins, and the family office of Youri Djorkaeff.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its international expansion, with a focus on the US market.
Led by CEO Adrien Miniatti, Amanda provides a social prediction mobile game for sports fans with over 300,000 monthly players in France and more than 1 million players worldwide, particularly in the United States and United Kingdom. The app allows to test sports knowledge against other users through through free predictions on games in football, basketball (NBA), tennis, baseball (in Japan), NHL, NFL and Formula One racing.
