Druid, a Bucharest, Romania-based conversational AI technology company, raised $30M in Series B funding.

The round was led by TQ Ventures, with participation from new investors Smedvig Capital, Endeavor, and Verve Ventures, and existing investors GapMinder, Hoxton Ventures and Karma Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to continue accelerating its international expansion, particularly its footprint in the US market, which already accounts for 60% of the current revenue.

Led by CEO Liviu Dragan, Druid is an end-to-end platform for building, deploying, and scaling AI-driven conversational business applications, designed to deliver employee productivity and customer experience. Acting as a front layer to all digital operations, the solution unifies and enhances the existing technology landscape while mitigating app fatigue (learning and adapting to new systems). In addition, its intelligent virtual assistants enable interactions while speaking each organization’s language via open integrations with any existing enterprise systems and RPA technologies. Moreover, the recent integration with ChatGPT, via Microsoft’s Azure OpenAI Service, makes generative AI enterprise-ready and secure.

Starting in 2018, Druid has established a 160+ partner network and services 200+ clients worldwide including Kmart, Liberty Global, Texas Children’s Hospital, White Castle, NHS, Auchan, Georgia Southern University, Société Générale, Erste Group, BNP Paribas, Axa, and more.
