Dinari Raises $7.5M in Seed Funding

Dinari

Dinari, a Palo Alto, California-based blockchain-powered stock trading platform provider, raises $7.5m in seed funding.

Backers included Third Kind Venture Capital, SPEILLLP, 500 Global, 500 Global, Balaji Srinivasan, Sancus Ventures and Version One VC.

The company intends to use the funds to launch its dShare platform outside of the US and to expand its offering.

The dShare Platform is designed to provide transparent blockchain transactions, immutable proof of ownership (important in so many countries), the ability to transact with a crypto wallet, composability with other blockchain products, and instant settlement. By tokenizing publicly traded corporate equity securities, the system is designed to enable users outside the US to gain exposure to publicly traded corporate equity securities in a safe manner.

dShare is designed to programmatically ensure 1:1 backing of the tokens with the matching underlying securities. Dinari also provides public access to trades and total vault holdings per asset to promote transparency.

Dinari became a registered SEC transfer agent in 2022 and is pursuing other licenses to expand their offering.
