Antares Audio Technologies, a Santa Cruz, CA-based developer of an auto-tune vocal enhancement software suite, received a minority Investment from Atairos.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to expand the reach of its software.
Antares Audio Technologies is the creator of Auto-Tune®, the software for vocal production which is used in the vast majority of The Billboard Hot 100 tracks. In 2020, the company released Auto-Tune Unlimited, a provider of comprehensive SaaS suite for vocal creators led by Steve Berkley, CEO, and Jeff Wright, COO.
Founded in 1997, Antares’ mission is to specialize in vocal processing for music, podcasting, gaming, social, and other spoken word applications.
Atairos, an independent strategic investment company focused on supporting growth-oriented businesses, joined the company’s existing group of investors, including Ulysses Management and Orkila Capital.
