Apollo.io Raises $100M Series D at $1.6B Valuation

Apollo.io, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a go-to-market (GTM) solution for sales and marketing teams, raised $100M in Series D funding, at a $1.6 Billion valuation.

The round, which brought total funding to approximately $250M, was led by Capital Ventures, with participation from existing investors Sequoia Capital, Tribe Capital, and Nexus Venture Partners.

The company intends to use the funds to double employee count to continue building its GTM strategy.

Led by CEO Tim Zheng, Apollo.io is a SaaS go-to-market solution that provides sales and marketing teams with access to verified contact data for over 270 million B2B contacts, along with tools to engage and convert these contacts in one unified platform. By building sales intelligence, engagement, and execution workflows on top of its proprietary B2B buyer database, Apollo enables sales and marketing teams to operationalize their go-to-market strategy, generate pipeline, win deals, and improve team performance with AI-driven GTM guidance — all in one platform.

The platform is used by over 500,000 companies and millions of revenue professionals globally to find contact information, automate the outreach process, and turn prospects into customers.

The company is remote-first, employing 450 team members who are fully distributed across 30 countries globally.
