ScorePlay, a New York- and Lisbon, Portugal-based AI-powered digital asset manager, raised $5M in Seed funding.

The round, which brought the total amount to $6.5M, was led by Seven Seven Six, Rich Kleiman and Kevin Durant’s 35V, Alejandro Bedoya, Dominic Thiem, Raphaël Varane, Mario Götze, Renaud Visage, Alex Yazdi, Michael Philippe, Robin Sabban, Thibaud Elzière, Quentin Nickmans and Amaury Sepulchre.

The company intends to use the funds to grow their tech team, expand their New York office, and consolidate their position as the go-to media solution in sports.

Co-founded by Victorien Tixier and Xavier Green, ScorePlay provides a SaaS platform to sports organisations that automates the indexation, management and distribution of digital assets by using artificial intelligence for facial, logo, and text recognition. In under 2 years, over 120 sports organizations including the Swiss Football League, MotoGP (Dorna), Sacramento Kings (NBA), West Ham United (Premier League), Atlético de Madrid (La Liga), Major League Pickleball and 16 MLS and NWSL teams (including Angel City, Portland Thorns, Nashville SC, OL Reign, and Inter Miami) have signed up to use the ScorePlay platform.
