Creatively Raises $8M in Funding

Creatively, a New York-based job platform for creatives, raised $8M in funding.

The round was led by Thirty Five Ventures, Rich Kleiman, Link Ventures, Tornante Company, and entertainment lawyer Kevin Yorn.

The company intends to use the funds to further drive growth by expanding its product and engineering team, ramping up growth marketing and data capabilities, and accelerating the rollout of its exclusive payment feature.

Developed in partnership with fintech startup Orum, and designed by creatives for creatives, Creatively is an active space for creatives to showcase their portfolios, find work, and get paid. Since launching early in the pandemic in May 2020, more than 275,000 creatives have signed up for the platform and 2,000+ brands now use it to discover and hire creative talent.

Last year, Creatively announced CreativelyPay, a payment feature for creatives that speeds up bank payments to same-day and removes net 30-day payment terms for eligible creatives.

The company was co-founder Stacey Bendet, and Chief Product Officer Joe Indriolo and is led by CEO Gregory Gittrich.
