Aviwell Raises €9M in Seed Funding

Aviwell, a Toulouse, France-based tech agrifood startup, raised €9M in Seed funding.

The round was led by Elaia Partners and MFS Impact Investment Development of Boston. In addition, Aviwell also announced that it has been awarded non-dilutive grants from both the European Innovation Council (EIC) and the Banque publique d’investissement of France (BPIFrance).

The company intends to use the funds to develop natural and sustainable solutions that improve animal growth and provide food security to people worldwide.

Led by Mouli Ramani, CEO, Aviwell is a tech agrifood startup which leverages 30 years of University research in glycemic control in the gut-brain axis, intestinal microbiota, and deep insights into relational databases and hybrid AI/ML techniques as applied to agrifood to develop a hybrid AI-based discovery platform to identify insights into animal health, growth, and performance. It offers feed solutions that improve animal growth and health for the agrifood industry worldwide.

The company is headquartered in Toulouse, France and with offices in Boston, USA, operating at the intersection of Life and Data Sciences.
