Yuvod, a Valencia, Spain-based IPTV/OTT solution provider, reportedly raised €4m in funding.

The funding included:

  • a €3m round led by Palomar Capital with participation from Navesink Capital, Bill Luby and Todd Balestro, among others.
  • a €1m from Instituto Valenciano de Finanzas and Enisa.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach across the US following the successful launch in LatAm.

Led by Ricardo Tárraga and Jorge Gonzalez, Yuvod provides a PaaS that centralizes all processes to allow ISPs, content platforms and companies in the hospitality and sports sectors to offer OTT television services tailored to their needs.

Founded in 2018 with the support of Top Seeds Lab, the Lanzadera accelerator, and investors like Demium Startups, Yuvod has now grown to a team of more than 50 people with offices in 3 countries and a presence in 8 regions. It is a Google certified partner for Widevine and Android TV systems, and used by companies such as Vodafone Spain, Rakuten TV and DAZN.
